About Us & ContactWrite to Telephone About UsThe Foundation of Buddhist Thought was first taught by Geshe Tashi Tsering in 1997 at Jamyang Buddhist Centre, London. Jamyang Buddhist Centre Besides the regular older students who teach at the Centre and tutor the Foundation of Buddhist Thought course, Jamyang has been so fortunate in having two great resident teachers. For about ten years, Geshe Wangchen, author of Awakening the Mind of Enlightenment, led the Centre and since 1994 Geshe Tashi Tsering has been the resident teacher. In 1994 Jamyang moved to the Old Courthouse, in Kennington, just south of the River Thames. Since then it has come close to the initial vision to provide an oasis of peace and harmony in the centre of the city. For information about the Centre, please visit www.jamyang.co.uk.
